Internet Marketing

A successful home based Internet marketing business must be built on a genuine and proven system. It should provide quality products and be promoted using successful marketing and advertising practices
Your Own Home business
My bet is you’re reading this because you are one of the many thousands of people looking to break out of the rat race, take back control of your life and generate the freedom and income that is rightly yours.
Having your own business is only part of the solution because most traditional businesses require long hours and often show very little profit for several years. If you buy into a franchise, you will probably also end up with a big dept. An online business is arguably a much better option but unfortunately over 90 percent of potential entrepreneurs fail in their attempt to break free and I believe there are two fundamental reasons for this.
Reason for Failure Number One
The first is that the business model is flawed and so fails to deliver. It is essentially unworkable, involving a lot of setting up, and a huge learning curve. Most people, after an initial burst of enthusiasm, will give up and look for the next perfect solution. And if you are one of the few who manages to stay the course, and an income does start to trickle in, it probably won’t even cover your operating costs for a long time. For example, Creating Adsense sites.
Reason For Failure Number Two
The second and perhaps even more critical reason for failure is that we treat our ‘business’ like a hobby. It’s something we tinker with now and then when we’re in the mood. Or, because our first marketing efforts do not produce the expected/predicted results, we lose heart and give up. This is ok if you have plenty of money, but for many it is almost a matter of life and death. Their options have run out and this new business is their last hope. It has to succeed
Adopting The Right Mindset
If you are serious about success, your attitude has to be “whatever it takes”, otherwise forget it, it just won’t happen. You have to understand that you and you alone are responsible for the outcome, but success is also much more likely if you are using the right business model.
An Internet home based business is for my money far and away the best solution. An ideal online business should quickly (within months, not years) start producing an income and eventually require only a few hours a day to run. This is the optimum solution but finding that perfect business might not be so easy.
Finding The Right Business
So what business should you choose? Anybody who’s been on the Internet for a while knows it’s a minefield out there. Every man and his dog is offering you the latest best thing which can be set-up in minutes and will make you a fortune in no time. Am I telling you anything you don’t already know? Of course not.
I’ve personally spent over 10 years and many thousands of dollars looking for that perfect solution and on the one hand all I’ve made is a few bucks. On the other hand, I’ve done 10 years extremely valuable research. But has that research finally paid off?
The Perfect Online Business
The overwhelming conclusion I and many other marketers have come to is that there is only one type of online business that provides the optimum opportunity. It has to be a ready made turnkey business and it must:
Pay you first (GPT – Get Paid Today), making a major change of focus in the MLM industry from a long-term residual income, to an immediately available income
Be Top Tier, called Top Tier because of the caliber of people it attracts, and the high income that is possible compared to traditional MLM
Have a simple compensation plan (Not multi-level dependant)
Have high value products or services with a minimum price tag of around $2,000 of which you receive a minimum 50% commission
Require no more effort to market than a $200 product
Be easy to set-up, easy to operate and have excellent support
Have a huge potential market and profit potential
Have no products for you to personally handle
Have no face-to-face selling
The End Of Traditional MLM?
In reality the internet may have sounded the death knoll for traditional multi level marketing where you require a three level deep down-line. And if you work really hard and don’t have too many people drop out, you will make a residual income based on many small commissions over time. In this model the real profits are usually made by only a few top players.
A Turnkey ‘Business In A Box’ Has To Be The Ultimate Home Business Solution
If you have no desire to spend months building a down line or web sites but just want to get started then a ready made and proven turnkey business in a box is for you. Find the business model that consistently outperforms most traditional systems and with a fraction of the effort and you have the potential to generate a great income.
For example, if you personally only make one sale per week of a Tier One product that sells for $2,000, then you would make around $50,000 a year, and this is a conservative estimate. To be honest, if you are prepared to put in a consistent effort, the sky is the limit
Tier One, Get Paid Today systems are definitely the way forward so my advice is to get locked into an already successful home based Internet marketing business system and reap potentially big rewards for less effort.
And I don’t mean no effort – but by comparison to what most of us have been used to, you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to be successful in this new wave business model

Internet Marketing

The Internet is a dynamic beast; it can literally eat you alive and spit you out unless you go along with the emerging online marketing trends of today. The World Wide Web is not alive per se. It is but a virtual avenue for people to come together and create a cyber world. And as they say, anything goes when it comes to the Web and most anything here goes out of fashion… quickly. The same is true when it comes to internet marketing trends. What may have been hip and happening a few years, months or even weeks ago may be passé today.
E-books are almost dead as an online marketing tool. The same goes with software-based ads, online market research and email marketing (can you say SPAM faster?). There are other unethical online marketing tools, of course but most of the search engines are smartening up. In fact, some of them can be so relentless that innocent business websites are affected as well.
Nonetheless, most people who engage in internet marketing can be equally relentless when it comes to promoting their websites, products or services. And for those of you who wish to find out just how exactly you can crest the wave of success, here are some of the emerging marketing trends for the World Wide Web.
Facelessness is Becoming a Good Thing
A few years back, people have said that in order to tap into the resources of your potential market, you need to know exactly what their details are: age, status, income bracket, etc. These days, everything is a blank canvas. There are no more demographics over the internet when it comes to online marketing. Almost anything can be sold to anyone at any given time. This means that most of the texts and images used in advertising should appeal to just about anyone who uses the web. This may sound easy, but in truth this is quite difficult.
Imagine how anyone can create something that will attract the attention of people who come from many different countries, from many religious backgrounds, and from many stratums of society. One cannot hope to be politically correct all the time because the advertiser has to deal with a whole range sensibility. And yet, it can be done. There are after all, two basic similarities among internet users.
The Need to Find Easy Texts to Read
Of all the texts, blogs and propaganda spreading rampantly over the internet, most online users prefer texts that are easy on the mind which can be comprehended quickly. This does not mean that treatises and technical documents are shunned by most users. It just means that in order for internet marketing to become successful, a more conversational and light-hearted ad construction is needed. Most business sites or adverts with superlative adjectives are now considered overkill and very often dismissed faster than you can spell the SPAM.
Instant Access Means Instant Success.
Yes, it’s true. All internet users want instant online access to anything. Wouldn’t you? There was a point in internet marketing when, after you click on an ad you found particularly interesting, you are redirected into a series of adverts that have absolutely nothing to do with the ones you are looking for. There are a few people (saints, in our books) who would push through with the clicking; hoping that something worthwhile will eventually turn up but nothing ever does.
This can be great … as a practical joke, but certainly not as an internet marketing tool. Most internet users now do not want to fill out the newsletter subscription; do not want to fill out the customer demographic page (for research purposes, they say); do not want to fill out the friend referral page; do not want to fill out the feed back page … It is far easier to click on the close button and find an advert that leads directly to the business website where the information is right there – yes, right there where the potential client wants it to be. Information that is often considered as pertinent includes online contact information of the company, rates/costs, special promos and discounts, guarantees, etc.
On the whole, these emerging internet marketing trends seem to be leaning towards straightforwardness and simplicity. The faster the internet user can get a hold of whatever it is wanted, the more successful the ad will be. Traditional internet marketing still rules – but only just.

Internet Marketing

What is Internet marketing? In short, Internet marketing is a marketing method which you will be promoting your products and services online. Many businesses are starting to realize the potential of the Internet and are developing dedicated Internet marketing departments to secure their online market share.

Why Internet Marketing is Powerful?Internet has become a popular medium where people spend their time participating in various discussions. They discuss about everything. Sex, girls, hunks, cars, money and even their bosses. If you do not pay specific attention to the online world, you are not paying enough attention to your customers.

They might be discussing about the field you are in, a problem that they want a product to solve and most importantly, they might be discussing about your company.

Internet Marketing for Market ResearchWhen you got yourself started in Internet marketing, for most of the time, you will be doing keyword research using various tools and search engines. By applying the knowledge, you are able to identify whether there is a demand for a particular product or whether people have a need for the products that you are developing.

Market research is extremely vital for a business and no business owners should spend money developing something that no people will buy. Also, sites like eBay and Amazon provide crucial information on customers buying patterns. Thus, to get these results clearly and cheaply, you must move into Internet marketing and learn the knowledge and skills.

Internet Marketing – Cheap MarketingMost small and medium size companies or sole traders have limited advertising funds. The Internet, in this case, is a perfect marketplace for these business owners. Why? Product owners and service providers can reach their end users and customers directly via the Internet, often without the need of spending thousands on advertisement costs.

Social media and search engines can be utilized to secure and interact with customers. Building a close bond is much easier on the Internet. Thus, a considerable amount of knowledge on Internet marketing is advantageous for a business, especially in the coming few years as more and more people are getting online.

Internet Marketing

Internet marketing is a fast-paced business, primarily because new tools are becoming available all the time. Some of them are gimmicky, to be sure, but others can actually increase you traffic, and your links, and therefore your popularity. So check out these SEO strategies and marketing tips. You might just find some that are perfect for you!
1. Video Marketing
Just about everyone who’s spent any time on the internet has seen at least one YouTube video. That’s because video has become so user-friendly that almost anyone can figure out how to watch videos or even upload their own videos. So don’t pass up the chance to market your business using YouTube or Google Videos. Embed videos with your links or with your site url. You can also place streaming audio and video on your own website.
2. Peel Away Ads
Gone are the days of intrusive pop-ups and fade-ins. Instead, peel away ads are placed at the top corner of your webpage. When the user places their cursor over the icon, the page “peels away” so that the user can see your promotion or advertisement.
3. Add This
This is a great way to take advantage of the popularity of social media websites. Just put the AddThis button on your webpages and your visitors will actually bookmark your content. This is a free service and is relatively easy to install.
4. Social Media Bookmarking
Social bookmarking sites are all the rage among internet marketers and users alike. They generate enormous amounts of traffic and should be a primary part of your internet marketing campaign. Social media sites use tags. Tags are simple keywords that classify content, which makes it easy for you to connect your content with social media sites.
5. Joint Ventures
This is probably the quickest way to increase your traffic and your revenues. Simply connect with big internet marketing experts and utilize their contact lists. If your product or service is top-notch, you won’t have any problem getting one (or more) of these experts to set up a joint venture with you.
6. Make Yourself a Internet Marketing Expert
Convince the online community that you are an authority in your field. How? By writing ebooks, articles, and blogs on subjects about which you are passionate and about which you have made yourself knowledgeable. Internet marketing is much once easier once you’ve established yourself as an expert.
7. Micro-List Building
Instead of using large opt-in lists, develop micro-lists for each of your products. You may find that you have hundreds, if not thousands, of these lists, and you can use an autoresponder program to manage them.
8. RSS Feeds
Blog regularly and make sure that your blog has an RSS feed so that your subscribers will know when you’ve updated your content. This is a “must-do” for all internet marketers, and one of the easiest ways you can guarantee that your potential customers will continue returning to your site.
9. Long Tail Keywords
Long tail keywords are one of the most effective online marketing techniques. Rather than targeting specific keywords, target keywords that are less competitive within a niche market. The trick is to figure out the exact phrases that people are entering into search engines and then writing content to match.
The internet marketing business is constantly evolving, so it’s crucial that you keep up with the latest trends and tools as you market your service or product. These are just a few of the most recent tools that many internet marketers have found effective. To know more, contact an SEO expert or internet marketing consultant. These professionals are up to date with the cutting edge tools that you need for a successful internet marketing campaign.

Internet Marketing

It is sad to see so many people suffering from the recession that is currently upon the society today. The internet is the perfect place to look for a new start. However, there are several things you can do to ruin a perfectly good internet marketing business opportunity.

The first thing that can get you on the wrong track is not researching the market. No matter how much you think you know it is important you realize there is always more to learn. This is especially the case being that the internet is constantly changing. In order to separate yourself from the rest of the competition you need to know exactly what your target market is looking for so that you can deliver to them.

As soon as you have an idea of what people are looking for, it is vital you start promoting your site immediately. There is no sense in waiting to promote your internet marketing business as this will only delay the chances you have of generating traffic. The sooner you begin advertising the sooner you can get sells.

Something many entrepreneurs are aware of but do not do is market with consistency. When first starting out you need to be promoting your site at least two to three hours per day. Then when you do begin to get traffic it is vital you continue to market an hour or two every day. There is far too much competition on the internet for you to sit back and advertise once or twice a week.

You are going to be faced with a plethora of responsibilities and tasks with your business. However, it is essential you get out there and be where the people are. You cannot expect people to come to you. The networking part of your business is crucial to the type of results you will get. If you want to succeed online you need to be willing to post in forums, write in blogs, and meet people in social sites.

The last thing and perhaps the worst thing you can do for your internet marketing business is forget about the customer. No matter how many things you have to do, you need to realize it is the customer that will make or break your business. Therefore, it is important you respond to their emails promptly, thank them for the business, and offer them additional services in the future.

With the amount of responsibilities you have to take care of with your business you are bound to make mistakes from time to time. However, there are some things that can prove to be more detrimental than others. Take the tips in this article into consideration so that you can make the most of your internet marketing business.

Why Many People Fail to Make Money from Internet MarketingCopyright © Captain Adiari, M.D.http://www.OnlineGain.netInternet is a huge market. If you search the internet, there are literally myriad programs with multitudes of software being chunked out frequently, each trying to convince you of its superiority over the others. This is where the internet neophytes, the newbies, get confused and usually become overwhelmed. If you are a newbie and feels confused and even overwhelmed, don’t be disheartened. Do not give up like so many do. Statistics have shown that 95 percent of people, who hear of the big internet market with its numerous opportunities of financial gains and attempt to do business through it, actually get frustrated and give up. Such people are the ones that generally conclude that all forms of internet business are nothing but gimmicks and scams. But that is not true. You can make a decent living from internet marketing as being attested to by so many people in our program. You don’t need to belong to the 95 percent failure class. But why this high casualty rate? Why so much failure?A number of reasons explain this:1). Lack of knowledge of internet marketing. Many people think that to make money online, they will just set up a website, host it on an engine, submit it to search engines, then sit down and fold their hands waiting for the dollars to start pouring in.2). Not updating your knowledgeSome people don’t take advantage of the newer internet marketing techniques. For instance, some don’t have knowledge of automation. They are still struggling with the manual system to build their subscribers’ list. How can they catch up with some other person who uses auto-submission to reach a wider subscription coverage? 3). Non-specialisationThere are various aspects of internet marketing. An internet marketer who tries to do all things at the same time cannot expect to maximize the systems. Lack of specialization results in loss of focus. Focusing in one or two aspects of marketing per time and as much as possible to know all you can in that area increase sales dramatically.4). Lack of PerseveranceYou might have heard of this internet marketing aphorism: “money is in the list.” List here refers to the number of subscribers you have whom you can easily contact for business. They are your online customers. The more the number, the higher the probability of increased sales. But to build a list takes time and patience. When an online marketer hastily folds up, terminating his trading, he has put a hot knife across his growing list. His subscribers will lose faith in him. To build your list requires patience. Patience and perseverance are the traits of any successful online marketer. To have patience, you must have faith in your system and in your ability. Faith is what keeps driving you onwards and forwards even when there seems to be no apparent result. All great business achievers are known to have passed through a phase in life where they keep working and praising forwards despite no physical evidence to do so. They have strong faith in themselves and their work, hence, they are patient. Faith fuels your patience. Indeed, F-A-I-T-H and P-A-T-I-E-N-C-E, you need them if you must conquer.5). Not NetworkingInternet is a network connectivity of people and events. This is especially true with online marketing. Load of information is churned out regularly. New software that keeps refining and improving online business is being invented continuously. For instance, use of banners and posters were the norms in internet marketing in the 1990’s. Today they have been overtaking by more efficient systems. If you are still depending on them for great sales, you are of the old school. One way you can keep abreast of the latest in online marketing is by being in constant contact with your colleagues in the online business. Lack of Networking is one of the main causes of 95 percent failure among internet marketers. You cannot just set up a website, do your own things, not minding what goes around you and expect sales to keep pouring in. No, it doesn’t work that way. A doctor who enters private practice and has not been updating his knowledge soon discovers he is outdated and his practice will diminish with time.6). Not having your own websiteOne danger in affiliate marketing is the notion that you don’t need your own website. Some affiliates claim that as long as you have access to the products of the parent company that you have affiliated to, you really don’t need your own website.Really, you can make sales with your affiliate link without a personal website. But the truth is you’ll be grossly limited. For instance, you cannot take advantage of what I refer to as Integrated Affiliate Marketing, which is the linking of products of different affiliate companies and marketing them as one entity. Integrated Affiliate Marketing is made possible only by having your own website. In your website you can integrate two or more products of different companies and market them at the same time. This ensures multiple streams of income. It is what all successful internet affiliate marketers do. Indeed, one great disserve you’ll mete out on yourself is not having your own website!

Internet Marketing

In order to maximise web site search engines, it might be tempting to post pieces of writing to as many sites as possible. This may include your own blogs, article marketing sites, social networking sites  as well as your own customised web site. All very well and good, you may think. Or is it? Quite apart from the fact that many article publishers only like to see original content and not something that  is ploughed out  here there and everywhere, there  is also the question of whether something is actually an article or a blog. Indeed, does anyone actually know enough about this to even notice? Let’s look at what the Internet says about both articles and blogs and then I shall expand in a little more depth about my own theory.Blog.Let’s look at this first of all. Just our of interest, the absolutely correct way of spelling it is ‘blog. This is because the word is a derivative of two words i.e., web and log. The apostrophe replaces the word web. Not wishing  to sound pedantic, however, it shall be referred to as blog for the purposes of this article. Generally speaking, it would seem that the accepted norm is to describe a blog as a commentary. This implies a certain amount of bias and could be described more of a point of view than a factual description of events.Article.This refers to an unbiased description of events. In other words, a news item. Quite whether any event can be said to be described in an unbiased way, of course, is open to argument and clearly a topic for another article as opposed to something that should be included in here. Perhaps the difference can be made clearer by looking at how the subject of this article was introduced in the opening paragraph. Had it been written for the purposes of a blog, it might have begun as follows – – As one who is always looking for the easiest, most productive way to generate more website traffic, I can be relied upon to maximise any piece of writing by having it posted to many high quality sites as possible. The difference is not just viewpoint being biased or otherwise, rather that the subject and object change. In the case of the blog, the subject is the writer. In the case of the article, the discussion about blog and articles is the subject ( of the piece ). Compound those facts with the general trend of the blog moderators to lean towards blogs  being used to describe the more personal aspects of our lives, it would make sense to assume that the article should be kept for the article marketing sites alone. This will, of course, be in the interests of the people managing the article writing sites as well for the reason mentioned above ( they prefer original content that has not been shared with any number sites out there ) and so  resulting in a win – – win situation. This is something that should be aimed for when making your Internet marketing business plan as you start your Internet business.

My aim is to help people develop their personal and professional skills to enable them and, subsequently, others to attain financial independence by building an Internet business that has a strong teaching ethic.<a href=”″ rel=”nofollow”>

Internet Marketing

There are various reasons why there are many individuals who want to start their own home-based Internet marketing business. Some are saying that the amount of money that they are earning from Internet marketing is higher compared to their monthly salary from their regular work. It even comes to a point that they are earning money similar to or more than the salary of their managers and department heads! This is relatively true, since there are Internet marketers who are earning as much as a hundred thousands of dollars within a month. Other reasons that these Internet marketers may include in their list are their differences with their respective bosses, spending more time with their spouses and children, the chance of traveling which is virtually impossible if they are just ordinary employees, the chance for an improved quality of life, and others. There may be other reasons behind their determination to start and continue their home-based Internet marketing business, but these are all under a single theme. All individuals starting their home-based business really look for one thing-and that is FREEDOM!If you have your own home-based Internet marketing business, you will gain freedom from the pressure of your work. There will be no boss who will tell you what you need to do and what you need not to do. There will be no alarm clock that will wake you up and go to your dead-end work that does not pay you enough to let you do what you want to do. You will be able to tell your children that all of you will be going to Disneyland during Yuletide season because you have enough money. You will be able to watch your favorite musicals or play your favorite sport since you do not have work to attend to. Yes, it is about money. However, if you do not have the freedom with the things that you want to do and you always act as if you are a robot who will follow everything for the sake of earning more money for your family. By starting your own home-based Internet marketing business, you will be able to ditch your boss, your bedside alarm clock, those coats and ties that you wear, the gripping clients, and other pressures that prevents you to enjoy your work. There was once an Internet marketer who confirms that the freedom offered by home-based Internet marketing business is really fantastic. He starts his day at 10 o’clock in the morning, going to his “office” on his favorite lay-around-the-house clothes. After doing all of his Internet marketing-related task in the morning, he will sleep again and will wake up at around 4 o’clock in the afternoon, do some grocery shopping on the nearby grocery store, and checking his personal computer unit if there were any updates with regards to the deals he had made early in the morning. He can do all of this because he is the boss and in-charge of his home-based business. There was no real potential loss since he can make it up on the next day. That is freedom-even in the strangest way possible. You do what you want or what you need to do without asking permission or worry about what will happen to your pay slip if you leave work earlier… or probably take a day or two off completely. However, there are few individuals who realize the benefit of freedom in starting a home-based Internet marketing business. Most of Internet marketers just sign up on a particular Internet marketing program and make all the money that they could. Another freedom that you will enjoy in starting you home based Internet marketing business is carrying your “office” on other locations aside from your bedroom or the basement of your house. Even you are in Disneyland, the coastal areas of Florida, or in the casino haven of Las Vegas, you will be able to close deals and earn lots of deals. You will feel more relaxed if in between your relaxation or vacation on other places, you are thinking of a business that is giving you salary no matter what you are doing. Start your home-based Internet marketing business now and declare yourself to be the BOSS-doing what you love to do without the fear of being FIRED and LOSING!

Internet Marketing

In this article I want to show you how you can easily create your own money making home based internet marketing business in 4 easy steps – without breaking the bank.

I’m going to assume that you don’t have much spare cash to invest in your business (or that you you want to create your business with as little up-front investment as possible).

I admit it, I don’t like spending money where there are free or low cost alternatives, so if you’re like me and don’t want to bankrupt yourself but DO want to create an online income from internet marketing, then this article is for you.

It doesn’t really matter whether you just want to create a little extra money to supplement your 9 to 5 earnings, or whether you want to develop a full time money making empire; the principles of making money online from internet marketing are the same.

Step 1 – Get your product(s) to sellPerhaps the cheapest way to get products to sell is to create your own ebooks or reports; this involves minimum upfront costs (just the purchase of a good pdf compiler, available from less than $20) and each report or ebook you sell represents 100% profit.

Alternatively, find a suitable product to promote as an affiliate (there is a huge range on Clickbank, or try Commission Junction). Marketing an affiliate program may well be the best choice if you’re completely new to internet marketing as you not only get a ready made product but will often get marketing materials as well. Using the affiliate marketing route, you will receive a commission for every sale you make (which could be up to around 75% of the sale).

Whichever route you choose, try to ensure that your products are for a market that is in demand and for which there are ready buyers.

Step 2 – Create your web siteEven if you have no experience designing and creating a web site, the days when you needed an in depth knowledge of HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) coding have long since passed. If you have this skill then great, but it’s now very easy to create your site without any knowledge of HTML at all. There are numerous (free) web site design programs you can use – Microsoft’s Frontpage, Nvu (available from or the excellent MyFreeWebsiteBuilder are the best known examples – which are true visual design programs (i.e. what you see is what your get, aka wysiwyg) which don’t require any knowledge of HTML at all.

There are however a few rules to follow when designing your web page(s):

Sending good quality traffic to your site and it not converting into sales has to be one of the most frustrating things as an internet marketer. A number of reasons can cause this, of which poor site layout is one – visitors aren’t turned into customers and leave the site without making a purchase, so engaging the visitor is something you should always keep in mind.

Step 3 – Get your page(s) hostedYou could spend hundreds of dollars getting your pages hosted, but why do that when you can get quality, professional hosting for only a few dollars per month?

Try to ensure that whoever you choose to host your site provides an easy to use panel for uploading and editing your pages, has sufficient web space for your site to grow, and provides built-in email (so that your personal email remains seperate from business emails).

If you really want to get up and running with minimal cost, why not create your web site using the free hosting provided by WordPress? Although WordPress is intended for simple blogging, there’s no reason why you can’t generate a blog that is marketing related!

Step 4 – Get visitors to your web pagesOnce you have created and uploaded your page(s), your next step is to drive visitors to them. You could pay for ads using Google Adwords, MSN, or Yahoo, but why not start with generating your own free traffic? Join a traffic exchange (most are free for basic membership), create interesting articles related to your market and post them on article directory sites (free, and great for getting links back to your site).

It’s perfectly possible to generate a large and growing number of visitors just using these free methods.

Just remember when placing ads on traffic exchanges that you have a limited amount of text space to grab attention, so make sure the headline and subtext will entice viewers to click!

For best results with articles, compose them with a liberal sprinkling of keywords related to your topic throughout the text, and make sure you include a link back to your web page(s) in the resource box at the end of your articles.

Monitor the results of your traffic generation strategies, and apply your main energies to those that produce the best results first before spending too much time modifying those that are not producing results.

Once you have followed all 4 steps above, you should be well on your way to generating that extra income. Best of luck!

Basics Of Internet Marketing

Internet Marketing

Internet marketing can seem mystifying not only for beginners, but for moderately skilled internet marketers. With all the courses, forums, blogs, reports, seminars and teleconferences available to help people learn how to get traffic to their sites, it is one of the most overwhelmingly dense subjects on the internet.Unfortunately, and this is perfectly true, most of the advice or “expert” tips are outdated or completely false. Since anyone can publish on the internet, you have a mixed bag of good information followed with much more bad information. The mysticism of internet marketing is created largely by this glut of some good and mostly bad information. It makes the whole topic SEEM like rocket science when, in fact, much of what was true about internet marketing years ago is true today. Most people think that since search engine marketing changes every five minutes, that ALL internet marketing tactics must have changed as much in the same amount of time. Not true. The basics, like trading links, article syndication, testimonials, forum signatures, joint ventures, affiliate programs – most work as well today as they did years ago. That is, if you know how to value the work above for what it will truly do for your website traffic.Funny thing is, no one places much value on the above tactics anymore because there is always some “new” tactic around the corner that claims the death of everything that came before it. And most people blindly follow that advice as if it were true. Most of the time, this is to the detriment of their internet marketing efforts. The basics are what work all the time and what have always worked on the internet. You can always experiment with new things, as long as you have not forgotten to do the basics. The basics proven to drive traffic, page rank, link popularity, and branding to your business.Conservative, relevant reciprocal linkingArticle syndicationParticipation in your field and among your market (forums)BloggingOffline advertisingNon-reciprocal linking tacticsPress releases…and many other proven methods.Everything else is just a big experiment until proven to work over time. “Over time” being the operative words. Lots of flash in the pan crack pot schemes work for awhile. But most never stand the test of time.Links from a widely syndicated article will never fade away, yet I see people chasing down fly-by-night linking pyramid schemes as if they truly believe something like that is a smart thing to base their internet business on!Tens of thousands have walked away from their dreams, gone back to their depressing, predictable, slave-labor jobs never knowing how close they were to actually succeeding.Good people have left this business proclaiming it an utter lie that any average person can make it with an internet business and an internet marketing plan.I guess there is truth in that statement. Average people do in fact quit this business before they ever get started because average people fall for tricks and schemes that above average people avoid on their way to success. If you have read this far, you are probably in the above average category. Why? Because average people would have taken one look at the list of things I mentioned that are the bread and butter of internet marketing and saw nothing but hard work. And they’d be right!Above average people don’t shy away from work though. I don’t know a single soul (and my rolodex has some of the biggest names in internet marketing in it) who got where they are today without a lot of hard work. You can succeed in internet marketing if you are not afraid to work, and not constantly tempted by those who say you can succeed without it!Focus on the basics of internet marketing and stay with them as you try new strategies. We all experiment. But successful internet marketers never leave their bread and butter tactics behind unless they cease to be effective.
